Halloween 2009

We had a great Halloween. The boys were all pirates but each with their own flare. It was so fun to see them grow further into confident children and shout "trick or treat" at each door we went to. Then follow each generous offer of candy with a "thanks" or "thank you" and "happy Halloween" I was really proud of them as they ran from house to house using their manners and having fun. Rollin was even so bold as to ring the doorbell on a couple houses that did not have their porch lights on! They ate candy all night and all the next day, and they loved it. I wish I could let them eat what they want all the time, but I love them to much to put that junk in their bodies. I hope they understand some day. We had a lovely visit to a pumpkin patch in Rossville with some great friends. THen a second trip to buy a pumpkin that was big enough to carve into a jack o lantern. We have had a great fall so far and a very Happy Halloween!
